Amadou, engineer, was so nostalgic. He terribly missed his wife’s smile but today the joy will chase the rain. After a professional mission of 8 months, he is back in Dakar and meets his sweetheart Aissa on the “place du tirailleur”. Aissa who never misses a day without her signature burgundy lip, came with a nice surprise for the greatest happiness of Amadou. He guessed from the rounded belly of his wife that they will soon go from two beings who love each other to three.

What is the DK Station?
DK Station was the first railway station in West Africa. Its gorgeous architecture is of colonial style. The entrance is on the place du tirailleur. The station was to be demolished in 2009 for the creation of a park but was eventually rehabilitated to serve the suburbs of Dakar, the airport and the new town of Diamniadio.
